Don't go near Thunder News - they don't give you the information you need to configure your newsreader, then they do not accept the userID and password THEY provided when you try to contact them for support. Trying to get my money back - not holding out much hope.

As another poster indicated, many, many newsgroups are not available on this host. I would HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere for NNTP access. IMO.

lacking many many newsgroups , any group with the name erotica is missing if i wanted censored i would use my isp free provided service... retention isnt as good as they suggest, binaries as little as 90 days old are missing upwards 25% of the headers required to recompile and its ussualy more then posters include par recovery for, customer serviced has taken a huge downfall as i havent been able to contact support for the last 3 days to (only been an account holder for 3 days) to discuss a refund as they do not provide what they describe. i would highly suggest a different server
