SABnzbd+ Newsreader Review (freeware)

With this program you can just like any other newsreader program download binaries from various newsgroups. SABnzbd+ is the follow-up from SABnzbd. SABnzbd isn't developing anymore.

Advantages

• Free!
• Picks up NZB files from a special folder
• Par2-repair and unpack to suitable folder
• Receive e-mail on job completion
• Process RSS feeds from sites like www.newzbin.com and tvnzb.com
• Option to choose between transposing or removing illegal file name characters
• Available in MAC OS, Linux and Windows platforms

Disadvantages

• The setup is more difficult than Grabit

SABnzbd+ has no normal user interface, but is operating through the internet browser.
